Questions
What does “download to keep” mean?
Every chronicle you own downloads as a single HTML file that opens in any web browser — every entry, source and essay inside it, and the map too. No account, no app, no internet: the base map is built into the file, so it works fully offline. (The map is based on OpenStreetMap data.)
Will a downloaded file get my later corrections?
No — a download is a fixed snapshot of the chronicle on the day you save it, and browsing it offline won't change it. Your online copy updates the moment we correct or add anything, so just download the file again whenever you want the latest version.
Do library owners get new chronicles?
Yes, automatically. Every chronicle we add in future unlocks in your account at no extra cost — to read online and to download. You don't need to do anything.
Is anything free?
The whole Mesopotamia chronicle is free, permanently. Every entry, every source, every essay — the full thing, not a cut-down demo. Anyone signed in can download it, and it works offline too.
